Roszell Nicholson, 80 passed away Saturday, February 9, 2019 at Bethany Nursing Home. Born August 31, 1938 in Panther Burn, MS. Roszell was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses on October 16, 1971. She enjoyed sharing the Good News of God's Kingdom, including the Bible's promise of unending life in perfection on a paradise earth (Rev. 21:4), with her family, friends, and neighbors. She had the privilege of serving in the full-time preaching work from 1987-1992.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Berry and Mary Ella Ware; a brother, Eddie Lee Berry; sister, Sherry Jean May.
Survived by her sons, David Mitchell Nicholson and Clayton "Kippy" (Marcia) Nicholson; daughters, Jill Nicholson, Carolyn (Eric) Blackshear, Patty Nicholson, Tracy Nicholson, Pamela Nicholson, and Sherri "Missy" Nicholson; grandchildren, Erika Blackshear, Louisa Dawn Jones, and Austin (Danielle) Blackshear, William Jeffrey, Carmella, and Marcus Nicholson, and Daphne and Matthew Nicholson; brother, Willie (Debra) Berry; nieces, Alexis and Laur'el Berry and nephew, Marcus May. Roszell had 10 great grandchildren and one on the way; in addition to numerous other relatives and friends.
