Rose M. Neal was born May 3, 1955 to the late Rance and Eliza Neal in Hollandale, Mississippi. To this union nine children were born.

Rose moved to Canton, Ohio in 1976 and joined St. Mark  Baptist Church until her passing.

Rose leaves to cherish her memories her sisters, Barbara J. Neal of St. Louis, Missouri, Frances Neal of Greenville, Mississippi; brothers, Freddie (Cynthia) Neal, Minneapolis, Minnesota, Rance (Earnestine) Neal of Lawrence, Kansas, Charles Neal of Canton, Ohio ; uncle, Lewis (Ruby) Jenkins; special aunt, Margaret Henderson; special /dearest cousin, Andrew (Annie) Johnson, as well as a host of family and friends
