Rose L. May went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 6, 2016. Born in Opelika, Alabama, Rose lived most of her life in Canton, Ohio.  She was employed for many years as Director of Activities for White Oak Convalescent Home. She was a member of Grace Christian Fellowship where she served as a Deaconess and financial secretary.

Rose is preceded in death by husband Clement M. May, parents Tom and Georgia B. Watson; brothers Turner, Ack Miller, Ernest, L.C. and Jimmy Watson; sisters Selma Scott, Equilla Jones, Amerine Scott and Hezerine Wesley.

Rose is survived by her daughter Treasure O. Cone of Fort Wayne, IN; son Gregory L. May of Federalway, WA; granddaughter Tasha N. (Derrick) Mitchell of Fort Wayne, IN; grandsons Anthony Lee and Quincy May of Federalway, WA; great-grandsons Kelvin Duane, Dallas Andrew and Terrance Clement Mitchell all of Fort Wayne, IN; God daughter Christina High of Canton, OH; God granddaughter Love High of Canton, OH; sister, Mary Lou Pressley of Sterling Heights, MI and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, friends and the church she loved so dearly.
