Roosevelt Edwards , age 82,  passed away on August 10, 2014. Roosevelt  was born November 17, 1931 to Julius Battle & Maggie Edwards .  He served his country as an E4 Specialist in the United States Army from 1951 to 1953. Roosevelt is preceded in death by his father; Julius Battle, mother; Maggie Edwards, brothers; Willie Whitaker, Clayton Whitaker, & Clarence Edwards, sister Francis McGill, son; Dillon Johnson. He leaves to cherish his memories  his children, daughters; Annette Goodman of Akron, Oh, Rovella Jones of Pittsburgh, Pa, Banetta W. of N. Carolina, son Marqette Jones of N. Carolina, nine grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and special cousin Pastor James Earl Jones.
