Ronald Lee Truitt departed this life Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at home surrounded by his loved ones.  Born on April 2, 1953 in Gary, Indiana to the late John L. and Marion A. Truitt.

Ronald was employed by Winters Foundry and Portage Electric of Ohio.  Ronald loved to play the piano and listen to music, especially his favorite group The Temptations.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Joanne Cook Truitt of Akron, Ohio; brothers, Richard, Raymond, John Truitt and Larry Dowdy.

He leaves to cherish his stepchildren; Nicole, Leon, Laurence,  Leverett, Lyedelle, Love, Adrienne and Sheleigha all of Akron; brothers, Ralph (Marla) Truitt, Jimmy (Marsha) Martin; sisters, Phyllis, Cheryl and Charlotte Norma; special aunts, Ruth, Daisey and Bessie; special friends, Lorraine Freeman of Ohio, Dave Long of Gary, Indiana, Annie Mitchell of Ohio as well as a host of  nieces, nephews, cousins and relatives
