Our beloved, Ronald Lee Anthony, went home to be with Our Heavenly Father on September 22, 2023, after a catastrophic injury. He was born in Canton, Ohio on August 13, 1959. He graduated from St. Thomas Aquinas in 1978. He also attended the University of Akron. Ron was 64 years old.
Ron loved his family and friends. He adored his grandchildren and he was so very proud of them all. He loved to travel and trying different cuisines. He also enjoyed entertaining family and friends. Ron loved listening to good music, watching television and playing pool. He had a great passion for luxury cars.
Ron was preceded in death by his father, Charles L. Anthony; mother, Sarah J. Anthony; sister, Telitha Y. Patton; brothers, Tyree Anthony and Adrian Anthony; fathers-in-law, Excell Alexander and Leon H. Ridley; brother-in-law, James E. Gaitor. He loved them all.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories, his wife of 37 years, Michelle A. Anthony, whom he loved so very much; his daughter, Yolanda Nicole (Charles) Turner, whom he cherished with all his heart; mother-in-law, Maggie Alexander who he adored; sister, Renee Grant; brothers, Charles Anthony and Marcel Anthony, who he also loved; sister and brothers-in-law, Arlene (Greg) Deese, Chantay Smith, Excell Alexander II, Elliott (Malisa) Ridley, Diane (Keith) Schmitz, Sharon Taylor; four grandchildren, Serena Michelle Fink (Neil Taylor), Jayla Marie Fink, Zaria Joan Fink and Alexander Lee Fink; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; and a host of loyal friends that he grew up with, "Grace Avenue" also those friends that he met later on in life. He loved you all. Ron will be missed by all, especially his wife, who loved and cared for him with every fiber of her being.
The Anthony and Turner family would like to extend their appreciation to the staff at the following facilities: Aultman Hospital, University Hospital, Select Specialty Hospital; and Meadow Wind Health Care. They would also like to thank all who comforted and supported them during their time of need.
