Roger L. Zachary's Obituary

Roger Lee Zachary Sr. was born on December 8, 1946 in Glenn, GA and transitioned into eternity with His heavenly Father on March 17, 2025. At an early age, He accepted Jesus Christ as Savior and was baptized at Stateline Baptist Church. Roger attended school in Franklin, GA through Junior High School until his mother, Bennie Zachary, moved her children to Canton, OH in 1962. The year of 1965 was a big year for Roger. He graduated from McKinley Senior High School and became an employee of The Timken Company, where he underwent an apprenticeship program for a supervisory position and attended classes at Stark Tech. This proved an excellent career choice, as he worked for the same company for 37 years, many of which he performed as a supervisor. Family was the most important part of life for Roger. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, nephew, uncle, and cousin to his entire family.
