Obituary

Roger Allen Carr affectionally called "Roger The Dodger", 74 went home to be with The Lord after a short illness on July 12, 2022. Roger was a dominate football player known as the star running back for Central Hower High School where he graduated in 1965.

Roger was united in holy matrimony in 1966 to the late Mary L. Wilson, from that union 5 children were born, Rodney, Rhonda, Rachel, Regina and Rahsheam.
Roger enlisted in the US Navy Marines where he served four years, upon his return home he went to work for the Railroad Company for two years, he then went to work for Chrysler for 31 years until he retired in 2007. Roger was a smooth crooner who love to sing and dance to his favorite group The Temptations.  He enjoyed football with the Cleveland Browns being his favorite team.
Roger was proceeded in death by his mother Thelma Houston, father Woodrow Pitts, son Rahkheem Carr, brothers Millard Carr and Michael Houston and stepfather Robert Houston.  He leaves to cherish his memory sons Rodney, Rahsheem, Roget and Roger Carr, daughters Rhonda Justice-Carr, Rachel, Regina Ranika and Ramiah Carr, 26 grandchildren and 54 great grandchildren all of Akron, Ohio
MASK ARE REQUIRED TO ATTEND ALL SERVICES
