Williams, Jr. "One Love"

Robert Earl Williams Jr., aka ONE LOVE, passed away on July 28, 2024. Robert was born on June 14, 1958. The son of Robert Earl Williams Sr. and Shirley Williams. He graduated from McKinley High School in 1976. After graduation Robert proudly served his country in the U.S. Army from 10/22/1976 to 03/20/1985. During his serve Robert was awarded an Army Commendation Medal, an Army Good Conduct Medal (w Bronze 2 Loops), Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon (Numeral 1), and Expert Rifle. Robert's military education included Teletypewriter Repairman and Cobert. At the time of his death Robert was employed at Sam's Club where he was a dedicated employee and friend to coworkers for 17 years.
Robert never met a stranger and was a very loving person with a positive personality. He never missed an opportunity to tell his family and friends "ONE LOVE". He loved sports, comedy spending time with family, friends and socializing . Robert was a dependable, hard worker and knew a little bit about everything and everywhere. A road trip with him was like riding on a tour bus. Robert was always willing to help out, to give advise and support.
Robert was preceded in death by his mother, father and sister Kavetta Williams Freese.
Robert will be missed by all who knew him.
He leaves to cherish his memory daughters Joy Williams Okereke (Daniel), Kristin Williams, Kiana Williams Salazar (Efrain) and Lynea Williams, sister Paulette Curtis (Preston, brothers Brian aka "Boom" Williams (Renee), and Kevin Williams, Brother in law Keith Freese, 2 granddaughters Kayla and Kyla Johnson, great granddaughter Karleigh Long, great grandson Kyson Long and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Celebration of Life reception will be held at: LABORERS' INTERNATIONA UNION OF NORTH AMERICA LOCAL No. 1015
