Robert L. Wharton made his transition from his earthly home to his heavenly home on Friday, September 22, 2017 at the age of 68. He was a resident of Akron, Ohio, he was born in Barberton, Ohio on November 23, 1948 to his parents, Jack Sr. and Odell B. Wharton. Robert is preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Odell Wharton Sr.; son, Robert Wharton Jr.; sisters, Ruby and Frances Wharton; brother, Jack Wharton Jr. He leaves to cherish his memory his son, Anthony (Jessica) Wharton, Columbus, Ohio; grandchildren, Chloe and Alexander Wharton; brothers, Charles Wharton of Texas, Leon Wharton of Akron, and Anthony Wharton; sisters, Nita Wharton of Barberton, Tina Wharton and Missy Wharton; and a host of nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and friends.
