Robert Lee Robinson, age 66, passed away Saturday, January 18, 2015 in Canton, Ohio. Robert was born February 27, 1948 to late Simmie Robinson and Annie May (Jenkins) Hamilton in Hollandale, Mississippi. Robert leaves to cherish his loving memory his daughters; Amanda Robinson, Talena (Doug) West, Benita (Fred) Meadows; son Robert Robinson Jr., grandchildren; Briana Robinson, Daveon Robinson, Deonte McQueen, Jordan McQueen, Ananda McQueen, Tyreese McQueen, Velvie Robinson, Nadia Robinson, Olivia West, Robert Robinson III, Sydney West, and great grandson Royce Robinson Magee, sisters; Ruby (Odell) Newell of Chicago, Il., Louella Hawkins, Erma "Pop" Washington, Mary Robinson-Brown, Dorothy Robinson, Patricia Robinson, Barbara Robinson– Harris, Antonia Robinson-Warren, Levi Robinson, brother Eddie Lee (Mona) Newell, brother in laws; Warren Harris Jr. & Walter Harris, sister in law Linda Harris, aunt Margaret Henderson of Atlanta, Ga., uncle Lewis (Ruby) Jenkins, special cousins; Eddie "Wanky" Fields, Johnnie Fields & Robert Rome, as well as a host of other cousins, nieces, nephews, family & friends. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, ex– wife & best friend Ethel Robinson, & one grand son Deandre McQueen. Robert was a very honest, loving, & hard working man.  He had a heart of gold & would be the first one to give his last. Whether it be from work, fishing, or his infamous barbecues, to know him was to love him, & he will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
