Robert L. Hood Sr. was born in Columbus, Georgia to the late James and Marie Hood.  He worked at Orville Ohio.  He then went on to Republic Steel, finally retiring from Diebold in 1976.           In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by (4) sisters, Ida Mae Hunter, Julia Curtiss, Jean Martin, Christine Copeny; (3) brothers, Alton Hood, Walter Hood, Lucius Hood. Robert leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 21 years, Ruth A. Hood; (4) daughters, Debbie Hood, Patricia Donaldson, Linda Hood, Pamela Hood; (3) sons, Robert L. Hood Jr., Brian L. Hood, Cornell Hood; (19) grandchildren; (30) great-grandchildren, as well as a host of relatives and friends.
