Robert A. (Bobby) Valentine, 60, passed away on September 23, 2018 at Cleveland Clinic. He was born in Akron, Ohio to William E. Valentine Jr. and Barbara Valentine. He attended Buchtel High School graduate of 1977. He attended Kent State University. He retired from Bridgestone/Firestone with 30 + years of service. Robert's passion was martial arts. He received his 8th degree in 2018. He was a master in karate. He was a member of the United States Karate Team and was inducted into the karate hall of fame. Robert was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his father, William E. Valentine Jr.; sister, Sharon Valentine; and brother, Michael Valentine. He is survived by his wife, Deniece M. Valentine; son, Collin L. Valentine; mother, Barbara Valentine; uncle, Robert (Dianne) Steward from Australia; aunt, Wilhelmina Anderson of Louisville, KY;  brother, William E. III, Steven Valentine both of Akron, Ohio, Raymond A Valentine Sr. of Atlanta, GA and Reppond G.
