Robert Randolph Averiett, 73 years old went home to be with the Lord on December 14, 2023 after an extended illness at The Arbors of Fairlawn. He was born October 8, 1950, in Akron, Ohio to the late Petuce (Paul) and Lucy Averiett. Robert graduated from Buchtel High school in 1970. Robert was also a DJ working for Pearl Jam Factory. He was preceded in death by parents Petuce (Paul) and Lucy Averiett, brother, Edwin O'Neal Cain Sr., William Cain Jr., sisters, Janet Averiett, Vera Hollingsworth, and Lucille Cain. Robert was a charter member of Prince of Peace Baptist Church. He worked many years for Stans Towing, and he had a love for music. He leaves to cherish his loving memory, sons, Robert Gladney, Kedrin Rodgers, Marquis Rodgers, daughter, Mary Gladney and special friend Carol Spruill, along with a host of grandchildren and greatgrandchildren other relatives and friends.
