Richard Alan
Poole
May 29, 1974 — May 24, 2026
Richard Alan Poole went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 24, 2026. Richard was born May 29, 1974, to parents Annie R. Poole and Richard Alan Umbles.
Richard Alan Poole was the family comedian. He was self-employed and was willing to help move anybody. He could also clean and shine your shoes or jewelry. We can’t forget about his music, he loved music and a keyboard. The song that he would love to sing is My First Love (aka Long as I live), by Avant and Keke Wyatt. Richard was just like his father Richard when it came to Tupac’s music.
Richard had an arm out of this world and hands—he could play any sport, you name it, he could do it, and I mean well. Richard always called me Charmaine his twin!! Everyone just loved being in his presence. He was very much so a different soul. Plenty lovable and memorable memories—much love.
He is preceded in death by his father Richard Alan Umbles. He is survived by his sister Charmaine (Winson) L. Roden, brother Julius A. Roden III, sister Melissa I. Wright, Barb, the first mother of his kids and grandchildren Aalycia Poole, Asaiah, Josiah, Aalajah, and Cortez; Tawanna—the mother of his Montrell; Jennifer Zupp—the mother of daughters Timia, Richana, Vaby and sons Kristian, Teren, Richard, and Richan; Cassie—the mother of Richon Alion. Last, but not least, we just call him “D”, the other son Richard, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
