Richard Lee Edwards was called home on April 11, 2021 with his wife by his side.

Richard worked at BBS auto sales where he bought and sold cars. He loved anything that had to do with cars. He was a graduate of Garfield High School in Akron Ohio. He loved playing and watching basketball with his friend and family. He was the always the one to make everyone laugh no matter where he was.

He was a loving and dedicated father to his four children, Alonnah Edwards 10, Car'Leeyah Powell 9, Braylon Edwards 8, Laylani Edwards 6.

Preceded in death by Grandparents Henrietta Edwards, Henry Edwards, Henry Butler and cousin Derrick Boyer.

He is survived by his wife, Linzi Edwards; mother, Patricia Parnell; Father, Greg Butler; Grandmother, Cynthia Butler; Sisters, Quay and Dominique Morrow; Mother in law, Patti Wesson; Sister-In-law, Lacii Lauterer; Brothers-in-law, Richard Kidd and Maurice Kidd; Special cousins, Candace Sales and Darnell Edwards; nieces Dejanai, DeAsia, Brooklyn; Special niece Daliyah; Nephews Christian and Dominic Richard; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
