Rhonda N. (Ford) Dixon, age 63, passed away suddenly after a short illness on August 28, 2021. Born and raised in Akron, she spent the last 12 years in Clarksville, Tn., where she found a small community of neighbors who she claimed as friends, Ben, Denita, Robin & Willie Little,  her brother Shawn  & Susan.

Rhonda enjoyed spending time with family & friends, music & movies.

She is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents Robert & Bertha Ford, her maternal grandparents Leroy & Hattie (Perdue, Williams) Watson, her father, Rev. Bennie L. Ford, Sr. brother, Rev. David Anthony Ford, son, Eric D. Ford, three nephews, Stephen Rackley, John & Christopher Ford, several aunts, uncles & cousins & two brothers in law.

She will be missed by her mother, Alice M. (Williams, Ford) King; sisters, Barbara A. (Ford) Larry F. Thomas, Myrna M. Anderson, Janice L. Rackley; brother Bennie L. Ford, Jr.; children, John G. Armstrong, Tonia L. Ford & David L. Riggins of Lakeland, Fl. 12 grandchildren & 13 great grandchildren.  6 nieces & 2 nephews.  Many great & great great nieces & nephews.  Special friends in Akron, California, Maryland, and her road dog Terry of Alabama.

Rhonda was very specific in her final wishes to cremated with no funeral service.  She said she didn't want people looking down at her in a casket.  She wants to be remembered as who she was in life.
