Reginald Watson was born February 2, 1949, in Akron, Ohio to the late Julius and Josephine Watson. Thursday, October 8, 2026, he was called to his ETERNAL HOME of rest at the blessed age of 77.
He confessed Christ at an early age. Reginald served in the United States Army as a chef. He was employed by BF Goodrich for many years and also worked at Bakers Concrete & Construction.
He loved his family with his whole heart. He was a caregiver for his mother, brother, sister, and grandparents. Reginald loved to cook. He could cook anything, fried turkeys, oxtails, barbecue goat, egg pies, you name it, but his wife refused to let him cook her any chitlins. He loved music. He had crates full of old school albums in mint condition. He loved his cars, especially his Cadillacs and he loved to travel.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his uncle, Hammitt Belamy and grandparents, Sam and Louise Belamy.
To FOREVER cherish his memory, he leaves his wife Catherine Watson; daughter, Genia Brown of Las Vegas, Nevada; sister, Vanessa Watson and brother Damon Watson both of Akron, Ohio; granddaughter, Taylor Watson of Arizona; stepsons, Darryl Smith of Akron, Ohio and Russell Smith of Columbus, Ohio; sisters in law, Linda Clark, Odessa (Geoffrey) West, and Mary (Jerry) Dennis all of Akron, Ohio; very special cousins, Johnny Freeman and Vernon Sykes, as well as a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
