Regina Lidge-Porter (Happy Faye) of Akron, Ohio unexpectedly passed away on June 16th, 2023.  She is preceded in death by her parents Charlie & Nancy (Provo) Lidge, brother James "Sonny" Lidge, sister's Sherry and Phyllis Lidge, niece Sierra Lidge and great nephew Nazonte Anderson-Blair. She is survived by husband Richard Porter, Aunt's Ruby and Nancy Lidge, sisters Jannie, Melissa and Gwendolyn Lidge and brothers Aundra and Justin Lidge. She leaves to cherish her memory special nephew's Terry and Darrell and a host of nieces/nephews, great nieces and nephews that she loved dearly. Regina Lidge attended East High School and later in life continued her education. She met her best friend and soulmate Richard Porter in the mid 80's, who swept her off her feet with his generosity and charm. That was the beginning of their lifetime relationship (marriage) that lasted 35+years. Even though children weren't in the cards for Ms. Faye Porter, she wore the title of Auntie/Mom very well. She was a devoted wife, homemaker, sister, auntie and friend. Some of her greatest joys were hosting family gatherings, spoiling her loved ones. Keeping her husband happy and healthy. She would always go the extra mile to ensure the happiness and well-being of her friends and family around her. Her family was everything to her, being a   constant source of guidance throughout their lives. She took immense pride in seeing her nieces and nephews grow into  adulthood and raise their own families. She touched the lives of so many with her loving and caring nature. We will remember her smile, fun-loving nature, loyalty, dedication to her family and her huge heart. May there be peace and comfort in knowing that someone so special will never be forgotten.
