Ray V. Johnson, age 59 of Canton, passed away Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at his home with his loving family by his side.  Ray was born on April 6, 1959 in Lincolnton, North Carolina to the late Billy and Evelyn (Nixon) Johnson.  In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his sister Betty S. Johnson.  Ray was a member of Wells of Joy C.O.G.I.C.  He served in the United States Army for fifteen years.  Ray is survived by his loving wife of 39 years Deborah (Durham) Johnson; (2) loving children, Raphael Johnson of Belaire, Ohio and La'Sage Johnson of Canton, Ohio; (3) brothers, Benjamin Johnson of Clarksville, Tennessee, William Ricardo Johnson,  Billy (Gail) Johnson; (1) sister, Maude C. Johnson as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
