Ramon Lawrence Andrew Fields affectionately known as "BIG MONE" passed away suddenly on Friday, October 21, 2022.  He was born on February 28, 2000, to Laurene (Sharise) Hopkins and Robert Fields, Jr.

Ramon graduated from East High School CLC in 2018, where he played JV/ Varsity Football for East Dragons obtaining a full-ride scholarship  to Tiffin University. Ramon gained notoriety receiving Outstanding Offensive Lineman in 2017 blocking for 7,856 yards, 38 starts and 2 city championships, also being crowned Homecoming King his senior year. Ramon was employed with Akron Public Schools for Truant Transportation, assistant coach for the East CLC Middle School football team and a security guard for Friday Night Lights.  Ramon didn't stop there, he also worked for REM Group home in his spare time.

Ramon was a loving, kind-hearted, gentle giant with an old soul who loved the Lord.  He had a long-time desire to became paramedic, enrolling Stark State College.  Ramon was no stranger to the community as he was mentored in the 100 Blackmen program, coaching for the Blimp City Bears and Armor Bearers for Pastor Mark A Ward.  Ramon was an avid sports fan representing his Cleveland Browns and The Ohio State Buckeyes. Big Mone, loved videos games and talking trash with the fellas on Tuesday wing night.

Ramon preceded death by his grandfathers, Robert Fields, Sr and Lawrence Hopkins, Sr.  He leaves to cherish, sister, Alycia Hopkins and brother, Robert Fields, III, niece, Jo'i Sims, uncle, Lawrence (Torrie) Hopkins, grandparents, Jesse and Alyce White, goddaughter, Magiezty White and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and special friends.
