Phyllis J. Miles, 75, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on September 1, 2024 after a long illness. She was born December 7, 1948 in Akron, Ohio to the union of Charlie and Annie Miles. A lifetime resident of Akron, Phyllis was a graduate of South High School class of 67. She dedicated many years as a social worker with the Area on Aging Agency. Phyllis was a loving and kind daughter, sister, mother, friend, and grandmother with a heart of gold. Phyllis knew no stranger and her love knew no limits.

Phyllis is preceded in death by her parents, Annie and Charlie Miles; daughter, April Miles, Jaunts, Emma Wooden, Eugenia Mattox; uncles, Samuel, and Leon Walls.; nephew, Jason; great-grandson Ryan M. Miles Jr. Phyllis leaves to cherish her memory, son, Anthony Miles; daughters, Andrea Miles of Atlanta, GA, Angela Miles, bonus daughter, Marsha Featherstone all of Akron; sister, Nina Miles; brother, Charles Miles, all of Akron; grandchildren, KaTesha Miles, Tanita Love, Deontae Miles Sr., Tianna (Daynieal) Dotson, Ryan Miles Sr., Mariyia Miles, Bri'ja Graham, Ri'yan and Ka'Din Featherstone, Austen Shealy; nephews Wendell Miles and Angelo Miles all of Akron, OH, and Keith Miles, Atlanta,GA; a host of great-grandchildren, cousins, and friends.
