Pearl Mable Woods, departed from this earthly life on Sunday, August 4, 2019 at the blessed age of 96.  She was Born July 12, 1923 in Chattanooga, TN, the youngest of 10.  She was a nurse by profession and was retired from St. Thomas Hospital and was a dedicated member of Wesley Temple A.M.E. Zion Church. Pearl was preceded in death by her late husband, Henry Lee Woods; children, Lathern Woods, John H,. Woods, Sr., Lynn Ikefuna and Rev. Walter Woods as well as her siblings and great-great granddaughter, Baby Talaya. She leaves to cherish her memory, 8 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, 16 great-great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
