Paulette Devett Vinson, 57 was born October 29, 1961 and departed this earthly life May 4, 2019 She was the only daughter born to 'Ruby Vinson, who preceded her in death.  She was raised by her grandparents, Columbus and Adell Vinson, and they too preceded her in death.

She attended Akron Public Schools and worked at Rubber Maid for many years until she became ill.  Paulette was a very affectionate and loving person.   Although she had no children of her own, she loved children and she helped so many of us with our children.

To cherish her beloved memory, she leaves her brother, Andre Vinson; sister, Kim Duckworth;  father, Kenny (Flo) Simmons; aunt, Audrey Vinson; close cousins, Angie Vinson and Morgan Anderson; a niece; three nephews, and a host of cousins and many dear friends.
