Pamela Y. Jones was born August 16, 1952 in Akron, Ohio to Gladys L. Jones and Arthur Jones. She departed this earth on September 12, 2021 due to complications of ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease) and Dementia.

Pamela was a University of Akron Graduate and a retiree of Summit DD after working for them for over 30 years. She enjoyed helping others. Cooking for others was one of her favorite hobbies.

She is preceded in death by her parents Arthur and Gladys Jones. She leaves to cherish her memory, loving partner Acie Clark, brother Arthur Jones (RP), daughters Nakia Palmer and Tierra Spragling. Step Children, Angie Clark, Camelia Clark, and Acie (Anthony) Clark. Aunt Willie Dean Adams. Brothers in love, Walter, Harry (Ann), and Perry (Lisa). Nephews, Pete Hill and Cameron Roberts. Nieces Lakesha and Lakenya Jones, and Alicia Fowler. Special cousins Pandora Horton and Lorraine Horton and special sister friend Tina Scott (Randy), and Sandra Franklin.

Pamela loved her three grandchildren, James Walker, Ny'Airre Palmer, and Blair Palmer with all her mind, body, and soul!

Pamela leaves a host of other friends and family to cherish in her memory.

Services will be held September 20, 2021 at 1:00pm at Macedonia Baptist Church, located at 940 McKinley Ave., Akron, Ohio 44306. Calling hours will be held at noon until time of service.
