Mrs. Ovella McLin, age 88, passed away Tuesday, July 23, 2013. She was born June 26, 1925 in Limestone County, Alabama to George and Rosie Williams.
Ovella attended Greenbriar school. After graduation, she married Elijah McLin and relocated to Ohio. To this union were born 5 children.
Ovella worked at Aultman Hospital for a short period and was a homemaker. Ovella was a very good cook and baker. She and her sisters sewed beautiful quilts prior to the beginning of her illness in 1995.
Ovella was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Cliff, Priscilla, Earl, Emma, James and George; her husband, Elijah McLin, Sr.; her son, Elijah McLin, Jr. and his wife, Donna McLin.
She leaves to cherish her memory, 4 children, Elizabeth (James) Bond, Shirley (Michael) Owen, Micheal (Gloria) McLin and Denise McLin; siblings, Lucy Morris, Homer (Josephine) Williams, Fred Williams, and Elizabeth Stover; 4 grandchildren, Jeffery Bond, Leonnettria McLin, Marquitta McLin and Micheal J. McLin; 6 great-grandchildren, Aaron Bond, Micah Brown, T'Zipporah McLin, Sky McCorchran, Emiko Dowell and Christian John Michael Dowell; and a host of other relatives and friends.
