Our father, Oliver James Campbell, Sr., left this world, September 16, 2023, at Astoria Nursing home, at the age of 74. He was born November 23, 1948 in Akron, Ohio to Wright and Lucy Mae Campbell.

Oliver worked at TK Morse Company until an unexpected illness.  He was a big 49er fan and loved telling jokes and making you laugh.  He will be sadly missed and will always hold a special place in our hearts.

Oliver is preceded in death by his wife, Gwen Campbell of 32 years; parents, Wright and Lucy Mae Campbell; 2 brothers, Theodore an Bobby Campbell; 1 sister, Anesta Campbell; 4 uncles, Kennis and Buddy Campbell, Bill and Junior Graham; great-granddaughter, Johnae Davis; grandparents, Celia Clendon and Fannie Graham.

Oliver is survived by his children, Rochelle Quincy, of Houston, TX, Denise Campbell, Oliver Jr., (DeShawna) Campbell, all of Canton, Ohio; 2 step-daughters, Cheryl and  Monica, of Akron, Ohio; siblings: brothers, Wright, Jr., (Gennie) Campbell, Gary (Fran) Campbell; sister, Mae Florence (Kofi) Newman, of Baltimore, Maryland; 2 aunts, Willie Mae and Willie Alice, of Canton, Ohio; 2 uncles, James (Annie Mae) Graham, of Tallahassee, Florida and John Graham, of Akron, Ohio; 19 grandchildren, 19 great-great grandchildren and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.
