Odis Ryce Jr., 82, passed away at Akron City Hospital.  He was born in Noble Lake, Arkansas and was a US Army Veteran.  He retired as a Mail Handler from the US Postal Service and North Star Asphalt Co. after 30 years of service and he also  belonged to the  Mail Handlers Local #304 and the Laborers Union 892. He is survived by his wife Mary; sons  Dr. Larry White, Rodney Earl (Swayzene) Ryce of San Hosea, CA. and Odis (Nadia Pettis) Graves of Akron; daughters, Norma Jean of St. Louis, Andrea Ryce "Andi" and Christa Graves, both of Akron; sisters, Clara Mae Ryce, Pine Bluff, Ark, Future Sims of Los Angeles, CA and Jerlean (Vernell) Easter of Akron; nine grandchildren and host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
