Mother/Grandmother Nesola Brantley, 91 of Canton OH passed away on Tuesday, July 5, 2016. She was born July 08, 1924 in Graham, AL to the late Willie and Cora (Kite) Mitchell. Nesola was raised in Graham, AL and later move to Georgia and met her beloved decease husband Oliver Lee Brantley, to this union; they had three sons and four daughters. She moved to Canton, OH and was a resident for over sixty years. She retired from Convalescent Care nursing home as the head cook. Cooking was her favorite pastime and she was a great cook who enjoyed cooking for her family. She was all about her family and her home was the meeting place for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Nesola was a member of St. Johns Missionary Church until her death. Nesola was preceded in death by her late husband Oliver L. Brantley, her daughter Deborah Floyd and son Bruce (Rose) Brantley. She leaves to cherish in her memory, her loving sons  Oliver L. Brantley Jr., Willie L. Brantley and Palmon L. Brantley all of Canton, OH. Daughters Shirley (Chester) Justice and Martha L. Walls also of Canton, OH. She is survived by her loving sister Letha Mitchell of Massillon, OH. She also leaves to cherish in her memory a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great/great grandchildren and great/ great/ great grandchildren.  Services will be held on Thursday, July 14, 2016 at 11am at St.John Missionary Baptist Church, 2645 Lincoln St E. Canton, OH 44707. Visitation will be one hour prior to service.
