Nathaniel Thompson Sr. "The Fishing Man", age 81, transitioned to Glory on May 20, 2015. He was a former member of Wells of Joy C.O.G.I.C. under the leadership of Pastor Lloyd Kinlow, and a faithful member of The Abundant Harvest Deliverance Ministries under the leadership of Pastor Jimie T. Fowler until his home going. Nathaniel dedicated his service to the United States Army serving in the Korean War. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend. To know him is to love him, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Nathaniel was preceded in death by father Prince Albert Thompson, his beautiful wife, Betty (Dave) Thompson; siblings, Arthur Lee Thompson and Shirley Mae Thompson. He leaves to cherish his loving memory his wonderful mother Cleaster C. Hagler; children, Sheron (Vincent) Henderson, Nathaniel Thompson Jr., Cleaster E.(Jose) Gonzalez, Deborah (Ollie) Fowler, Rose (Jimie) Fowler; siblings, Bobby Earl Thompson, Earnest Ray Thompson, James Arthur Thompson and Samantha Thompson Lee ; devoted friends, Henry Lynch and Eric Turner, 25 grandchildren, a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
