Nathaniel Rodgers Jr., lovingly known as " Big Nate" , age 70, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, January 15, 2021 after a short illness.

Nathaniel was born in Akron, OH to the late Nathaniel Rodgers Sr. and Carrie Rodgers on December 3, 1950.

Nathaniel worked as an accountant for 20 years at Terex. Lastly retiring from Sterling Jewelers as a collections specialist.

He was an avid Browns fan and prior to health issues he loved bowling on the Phillips Chapel League. He enjoyed listening to his favorite music and could spend hours listening to the greatest hits. Everyone who knew Nathaniel knew how much he loved his grandchildren, whom he often talked about.

He was proceeded in death by his father, Nathaniel Rodgers Sr. and daughter in law Dominica (Dearing) Rodgers.

Nathaniel leaves to cherish his memory his loving and devoted wife of 50 years Bonnie Jo (Massey) Rodgers; daughter Alonda (Rodgers) Brazile, sons Nathaniel Rodgers III, Isaac (Christina) Rodgers, Lance (Maria) Rodgers; 3 sisters and 1 brother; Special Aunt Evolina Sanders; 8 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; and hosts of other family and friends.
