Naomi A. Merryweather went home to be with the Lord on Monday January 1, 2018 at the age of 94. She was born in Checotah, Oklahoma on January 31, 1923 to her parents, William and Leola Walker. Naomi was a member of First Apostolic Faith Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Willie L. Merryweather; sons, Jimmie and David Johnson. She leaves to cherish her memory, sister, Luezether Stiggers; sons, Billy Johnson and Clarence (Janell) Burney of Houston, TX; grandsons, Chance and CJ Burney; granddaughter, Danielle (Rick) Morris; great granddaughter, Courtney Morris; great grandson, Stephen (Abby) Morris; she is also survived by 14 other grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews other loving relatives and friends.
