Myrtle Wilcox age 85 departed this earthly life on Aug. 16th 2014 at Mercy Medical Center surrounded by her family. Myrtle was born June 10th 1929 in Mogadore, Oh to the union of the late Robert Sr. and Annie Laura Griffin.  She was a lifelong resident of Ohio and a member of Macedonia Baptist Church. She loved spending time with family and was a great fisherman. She loves to fish more than anything. She was also an AWESOME grandmother. Myrtle was preceded in death by her husband Dwayne Wilcox Sr., daughters; Myrtle Ann Wilcox, and Yvonne Parker, sons; Fred Wilcox Sr. and Cecil Wilcox, sisters; Janice Turner, Arvenia Andrews, Mary Louis Miles, Anzella McDonald, brothers; John Griffin and Robert Griffin Jr. She leaves to cherish her loving memory to her son Dwayne Wilcox Jr. (Jolaine); son-in-law Howard Parker Sr., grandchildren; Myrtle Ann Parker, Theresa Copeland, Howard Parker Jr., Fred Wilcox Jr., Ryan Parker, Tiereney Wilcox, Tiffany, Yolanda, and Adrian Jones, thirty great grandchildren and two great- great grandchildren, brother; Allen (Dorlean) Griffin of Country Club Hills, IL., sisters; Alieene Henderson of Bakersfield, CA, Vera Griffin and Vivian Reid of Chicago, IL. Granddaughter Amber Parker of Canton, Oh; a special niece (like a daughter) Laura Ann Talley of Houston, TX, a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
