Monte Ray Reid Aka Montego Bay, 48, went home to be with the Lord after a brief illness at Summa Health System.  He was born in Akron, Ohio at Akron City Hospital and he was a lifetime resident an attended East High School.  He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, socializing and playing spades.  He also enjoyed working with his family doing snow removal and landscaping jobs.  He last worked at Karmen Rubber, in Copley, Ohio.

He was preceded in death by his father Gerald Harris, grandmothers Essie Reid and Beatrice Thurman; uncles Hency, Jimmie and Rivers Reid.

He leaves to cherish his memory, mother, Betty Reid; children, Shainiece and Juelz Reid; grandchildren, Cameron and Taleah; sisters, Ashanti Reid, Tiarria Banks, Ebony Cross and Nicole Harris; brothers, Gerald Banks and Anthony Cross; grandfather Caleb Thurman and his girlfriend Tiffany Turner;  brothers from knee high to a grasshopper Al G Gordon and Jamaal Williams; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
