Minnie M. King, 91, went home to be with the Lord March 23, 2013 at Akron City Hospital.  Born in Nashville, TN. she had lived in this community for 53 years.  She had retired as a Cashier from City Laundry and was a member of  Greater Bethel Baptist Church. Preceded in death by her husband, Monroe King Sr., sons, Monroe Jr. and William A. King.  She is survived by sons, Robert King, Akron, James (Danetta) King of Aurora, Colorado; daughters, Dorothy J. Thompson, Lorina D.  (Dennis Sr.) Reynolds, Marniece King; daughters-in-law Florence  and Pearl King; grandson Morrow King III; 13 grandchildren, a host of great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; nieces nephews other relatives and friends.
