Michael Jones was born April 13, 1935. He passed away May 15, 2013 at the age of 78.  Michael was born in Enterprise, AL to the late Elouise Jones and Cleveland Lee.  His stepfather was Len Jones.  Michael attended McKinley Senior High school.  He was a veteran of the US Army and an employee of the Timken company for 20 years.  He was the 2nd oldest Black Barber in Canton, OH at Esquire Barber Shop.  He was also a member of the Canto Negro Old Timers.  Michael gave to various charities and organizations.  He was married to the late Dorothy Jones, his loving wife and best friend for 55 years.  They had four children.  He was preceded in death by sons, Michael Jones Jr., and Mark Jones; granddaughter, Marissa Jones.  He is survived by sons, Anthony Jones of Canton, OH and Terrence Williams of Los Angeles, CA; three daughters, Celletta Jones of Canton, OH Marisa Bishop of Venice, CA and Thea Williams f Canton, OH; sister, whom he loved dearly, Hilda (Thaddeus) Burns and special nieces, Monica Austin and Barbara Burns; nephew, Craig Burns; brother-in-law, George (Margaret) Kelley of Morristown, NJ and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.  Michael was a devoted husband, father, son, brother and grandfather.  He will be greatly missed!
