Melvin Antwan Kelly was born on June 16, 1962 in Chicago, Illinois, but was raised in Alliance, Ohio.  Antwan (as he was affectionately known) went home to be with the Lord on January 18, 2023 surrounded by family at his home in Canton, Ohio.  He received Christ as his Lord and Savior on December 9, 2020.

Antwan loved his family and friends; and he really enjoyed working at Bethany Nursing Home in Canton, Ohio. Antwan was married to Dorothy J. Kelly, the love of his life for 14 years; but you would hear Antwan say, "We've known each other since 1984—34 years".

Antwan was also a sports fan and he especially loved watching games with his wife. He also loved his music and playing the keyboard.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Dorothy J. Kelly; parents, Robert A. Kelly Sr., and Lilly B. Kelly; stepmom, Wanda Kelly; grandmother, Maggie Odd; two sisters, Regina Brown and Roberta Kelly; brother, Robert A. (Deitra) Kelly Jr.; sister-in-law, Barbara Davison; along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
