Melvin C. Burt, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at the age of 54. He was born in Sheffield, Alabama on August 20, 1963 James Coman and Lucile Burt. He is preceded in death by his step-father, Robert Wooden Sr. Left to cherish his loving memory his wife of 32 years, Stacy Burt; sons, Melvin (Monet) Moore, Jeremy (Nicole) Burt, Dontae (Emily) Burt, Dierre Burt, David Burt, Keyon Cleveland; daughters, Tiauna Burt, Tamika (Devon) James, Tiara Burt and Kenya Cleveland; parents, James Coman and Lucile (Sammie) Key; brothers, Robert Jr., Patrick and Mark Wooden; sisters, Cathy Tucker, Devetta Wooden, Tangela (Gari) Meddlebrooks, Alfredia Coman and Cassandra (Bradley) Oakley; fifteen grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Home going celebration will take place on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at 3 p.m. at Rhoden Memorial Home 1101 Palmetto Ave., Akron, Ohio 44306. Family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until time of service. Interment at Glendale cemetery. Procession will form and condolences may be sent to 1054 Juneau Ave., Akron, Ohio 44320.
