Matthew Smith, age 73, passed away unexpectedly on September 6, 2016. He was preceded in death by his mother, Rosie Richardson; (2) sisters, Matilda Smith Hawkins and Maxine Richardson. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Vivian Smith; one very special daughter Tuesday (Pete Johnson) Stokes; (3) sons, Matthew (Alfreda) Smith, Jr., Louis Smith, Trey Smith; step-son, Charles Thomas; foster son, Michael Allen; (2) sisters, Ruthie Smith and JoAnn Richardson; (1) brother, Alex (Helen) Smith, Sr.; special grandchildren, Tarren (Meagan), Tyme, Trey, Jr., great-grandchildren Tre'Zion, Ty'Zhere, Denim, Charli, (10) grandchildren; special niece, Latishia Richardson, special nephew, Alex Smith, Jr.
