MaryAnn was born May 6, 1937, to Marzell and Mary Alice McMillan (Richardson) in Akron, Ohio. Her mother Mary Alice passed away at an early age. MaryAnn was the youngest of seven children, having six brothers. The family decided that her Uncle and Aunt Marie and Lee Thornton would take on duties of parenting MaryAnn. She grew up in a loving home maintaining a close relationship with her brothers and father. MaryAnn attended West High School, then nursing school after graduation, and became a Licensed Practical Nurse. Later in her medical career, MaryAnn became a physical therapist, and she retired from the Children's Hospital Medical Center. MaryAnn later married James (Bro) W. Andrews and raised daughters Rika Mills, Nikia Harris (Andrews) and son Kevin Andrews. They owned and operated Silver Leaf Social Club and Mahogany's Lounge bringing many entertainment events to the City of Akron. MaryAnn was a very devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to many. You would often see her supporting her children and grandchildren's events, from sporting events, parties at home, school events and more. Her commitment and love to all shined through in everything she did. Her daughter Nikia affectionately gave her the name Gang Gang as an infant and everyone that knew her would forever keep her name at heart. In the recent times, preceding her transition she was able to spend her months with her daughter Rika sharing a room together who is battling health conditions. The bond and love shared during this time brought joy and happiness to them both during those tough times. She was preceded in death by parents Marzell and Mary Alice McMillan, Husband James (Bro) Andrews, Brothers: William L. McMillan, John B. (Mildred) McMillan, Ossie A. McMillan, Walter L. (Edna) McMillan, Chester L. (Mattie) McMillan, and Percy McMillan. Aunts: Marie (Lee) Thornton, and Georgia Odum. Father-in-Law Sandy Andrews, Mother-inLaw Willie Lee Andrews, Sisters-in-Law Mittie (Robert) Thomas, Georgia Smith, Anne Bell Smith, Lula Andrews, Lillie Ziegler Bunch; Aunts-inLaw Lula Booker and Lillie Henderson. Granddaughter Marika D. Delatte (Mills) and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She leaves to mourn her passing, daughters Rika D. Mills, Nikia D. (Keith) Harris, Stepchildren Kevin Andrews of Florida, Charlotte Andrews, Karon Porter, Sharon Penwell, Lorraine Broch, Carlissa Andrews, and Kevin (Barbara) Andrews. Special Grandson David E. Andrews, Grandchildren Marzell D. (Joshlyn) Mills, Ryan L. Turner, Ryanika L. Turner, Destin J. Andrews, Keanen D. Andrews, Nia D. Harris, Dazinell Shazor, Keith D. Harris, Jr., and Keshawn Harris. Great Grand Children: Desmand Watkins Jr., Destini Watkins, Donavon Delatte, Mariah Delatte, Saige Andrews (shared Birthday), Avier Turner, Kobe Turner, Daimer Brown, Dieres Brown Jr., and Rylie Brown, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
