The sunset on Mary E. Wright (Mae) on December 5, 2020. Mae was born on May 22, 1939 in Meridian, Mississippi to General and Mamie Robinson.

Mae was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend who manifested goodness and kindness. Her love of caring for others made her days full of joy, peace and happiness. Always being directed by scriptures to do Jehovah's will. Mae enjoyed spending time with family and going to visit her hometown. She was a lifetime resident of this community. Mae was also a relator for many years.

Mae was preceded in death by her husband, Harold (Sonny) Wright; her parents, General and Mamie Robinson; son, Harold C. Wright; special granddaughter, LaTonya Wright and 5 brothers and 4 sisters.

Mae is survived by her daughter, Mary Wright-McClendon (Alvar); granddaughters, LaKesha Walker (Rodney), Quitasha Wooten (Lisa), Twanette Johnson, Tiauna Bell, Donae Andrews (Angelo), Crystal Bell, Shavon McClendon and Shaunta Wright; grandsons, Demetris Conwell ( Leanna), Gregory Britton, Preston Hill and Harold Wright, Jr.; 45 great grandchildren, 34 great-great grandchildren; sister, Virginia Guthrie and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
