Mary Jackson, "Tina," was born September 15, 1955 in Forkland, Alabama to the late Lucrecia Jackson and Emmanuel Gator.  She confessed hope in Christ at an early age and joined the Birdine AME Church in Forkland, Alabama, under the pastorate of Ben Joshua Bettis.  She attended Birdine Elementary School and graduated from Paramount High School in May of 1973.  Tina then moved to Detroit, Michigan in 1975, where she found work at Sanders Bakery for 2 years, Hostess Bakery for 12 years and Awrey's Bakery for another 20 years, from which she retired in the year of 2021. On April 1, 2023, Tina moved to Canton, Ohio where she departed this life on July 1, 2023 at Aultman Compassionate Care Center. Tina leaves to cherish her memory, two amazing sons, Ricky and Reginald; a "daughter in love", Sherlenta; four beloved grand-daughters, Ric'Kya, Reginae', Armmyah and Mariah; one great-grandson, Kenneth Delorian; two brothers, Kato (Lucille) and George; three brothers, whom preceded her in death, Herbert, Emmanuel, and Nathaniel; four lovely sisters, Sarah, Lucy, Bernice and Norma (Lewis); two aunts, Ovetta and Dorothy; two nieces, Phyllis (Steve) and Lacresha; three nephews, Nathan, Michael and Kyle; three wondersul friends, Marylena, Diania and Ola Mae; also a large host of nieces, nephews;  extended family and friends.
