Mary Moore (lovingly known to many as Aunt) went to be with our Lord in Heaven on Monday, June 25, 2018. Ms. Moore was born in Reedsville North Carolina, lived most of her life in Roanoke Virginia, and has resided the last 6 years in Akron, Ohio.  She was a loving, devoted, and caring daughter, sister, aunt, and friend.  She was very proud to have raised her six nieces and nephews from very young ages to their adulthood. Ms. Moore loved her family, cooking, and her church, Greater Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Roanoke, Virginia. Preceded in death by her parents, Patrick Henry and Mary Alice Moore; brothers, Wyatt, George, and Jack Moore and sisters, Lukendra Moore, Lucille Clark, Minnie Clark, and Pauline Lawton, she is survived by her devoted nephew (caregiver), George (Mary) Lawton as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.The family extends a special thanks to Arbors of Fairlawn staff, especially Judy and Rhoden Memorial Home.
