Mary Berta Hailey, 81, quietly passed away on Saturday evening, Dec. 14, 2013.  Born September 1, 1932 in Canton to the late Hozzie and Artra Gillespie. Mary truly enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.  She was a member of the Canton Negro Oldtimers Ladies Auxillary.  She definitely believed in living life to its fullest and will be remembered for her zest for life and infectious laugh. Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by husband of 51 years Nathaniel Hailey, son, Andre Hailey, brothers Percy Vear, Hozzie, Jr. , and Phillip Gillespie.  Sisters Wyona Whitehurst, Themora Brown and Ora Jean Marsh.  She is survived by her loving son Gino Von Hailey, brother Darnell "Fluke" Gillespie, Godson Isaiah Harris and faithful companion "Rocky".
