Obituary

On December 29, 1955 in Akron Ohio, God created a most beautiful baby girl through the union of James and Leola (Lewis) Bloom.  They named her Mary Jane Bloom, affectionately known as "G-Ma", by her lovely grandchildren. Mary passed away Sunday, December 15, 2019 at the age of 63 at Cleveland Clinic Medina Hospital, after 4 ½ years battle of stage 4 lung cancer surrounded by her loving family and friends.

Mary Jane spent her growing years in Akron, where she graduated from John R. Buchtel High School in 1975. She was previously employed at Ohio Concrete Construction and after 26 years of service with Ken Ganley Toyota subsequently retired as a result of her illness.

On September 25, 2004, Mary united in Holy Matrimony to her earthly love James Fazl Sr. They lived the best part of their lives together until God called her home to His Heavenly residence. They shared twenty years together filled with love, gentleness, fun, joy and laughter. James would say "you're the best part of my life and I love you".

Mary expected nothing but the best for her children and grandchildren by encouraging them to do their best in anything that they desired to be or do. Her granddaughter Harlowe gentle smile would light up the room, brought joy and laughter bringing out Mary's beautiful smile, but brother David would do silly things to force her to laugh just to see that precious smile. The undeniable love Mary had for her husband James, her family, her friends and the unbreakable bond with her grandson Kingston, gave her that will to live, along with God's Grace and Mercy. Her grandchildren had a special part in her life and brought her great joy.

Preceding Mary in death were her parents, James and Leola Bloom; sister, Olivia Bloom; special uncle & aunt, Willie and Ethel Bloom; and mother-in-law, Jacqueline Fazl.
