On Friday May 3, 2024, Marvin M Lovejoy peacefully went home to be with the Lord at the blessed age of 73. He was born the late McClinton and Daisy Lovejoy on August 5, 1950, in Tallassee, Alabama. Marvin worked at Ford Motor Co. for 35 years before he retired. He also was a member for many years with Victor Lodge #7. He loved his gospel and blues music. He was preceded in death by his wife Virginia Lovejoy, son, William Lovejoy, brother, Jerry Lovejoy, mom, Daisy Lovejoy, and Father McClinton Lovejoy.

Marvin is survived by his children, son, George (Tiffany) Lovejoy, daughters, Marketa (Jason) Martin, all of Akron, Ohio, Carmen Brooks of Arizona, and Tracey Lovejoy of Dallas, Texas. 10 grandchildren, Makira (John) Giner, Jason Martin III, Ja'Kayla Martin, Virginia Weber, Jeffery Lovejoy, Jonella Lovejoy, Chelsey Lovejoy, Erin Brooks, Robbie Sams, Dion Sams. 3 great-grandchildren, Dante Giner, Trhue Lovejoy, Bryson Lovejoy, as well as a host of other family and friends
