Marvin Davis, 77, passed away September 15, 2013. Born in Virginia, he worked in construction as a asphalt laborer. Preceded in death by his lifelong companion, Shirley Ann Davis.  He is survived by nieces Margaret Sinclair of Akron, DeAnna Robinson (Terrence), Florida, Carolyn and Shirley Clay both of Akron, niece who he helped raise, April Flonnoy (Eric) , Akron; nephews who he helped raise James and Jerome Jennings and Hakim Nuru (Christa); nephew Clarence Clay, all of Akron; and a host of other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
