Martie was born November 21st 1970 to James and Shirley Hamlet. He grew up the 3rd youngest of seven children in Reidsville, North Carolina.   Later the family moved to Ohio where he attended Orrville High School. He graduated with a special trade as a welder. Martie was very smart and  shortly after landed a job at Akron Brass. He worked there for many years. He married Bonnie Lepley and together they had two beautiful daughters. He loved classic and antique cars, he would buy something really old, restore it, maybe keep or resale it. This never got old. He also loved sports. If you have ever had the privilege of talking to Martie about anything from cars, spots, comedy, even politics, he knew it all and could go on for hrs. You might have found yourself dozing off but he loved to talk. He also had another passion and that was health and wellness. He later became a Health Care Provider and cared for those in need. Martie was the sweetest kind. He had such a beautiful heart and was very humble. He will be truly missed. He is preceded in death by his father Earlier James Hamlet, and mother Shirley Marie Hamlet. Martie leaves behind his daughter's Allysa Hamlet, Sasha (Zach) Miller, and granddaughter Alayah Thomas. Brothers; Earl Ray Hamlet, Bobby Hamlet Sr, Robert (Reta) Hamlet, Sisters; Angela (Melvin) Johnson, Sharon Hamlet, Deidra ( Lamar) Sharp, and a host of cousins, Nieces and Nephews. He loved them all deeply.
