Martel T.  Tatum (Boosie), life long resident of Akron, OH, passed away unexpectedly on January 24th, 2023 at the age of 32. He was born in Akron, OH, on January 16th, 1991. He was a devoted father who loved and cherished his family, He loved watching scary movies, listening to music riding around the city and spending quality time and exchanging laughs and jokes with his friends and family. All he talked about was his daughters and loved being a father and taking time out just to be with them and loved taking them to the park. Martel was preceded in death by His grandmothers, Ernestine Roper and Corrine Tatum; His grandfather, Ransom S. Tatum Sr; and His Baby Sister, Julia Tatum.

He is survived by his parents, Charlotte Kirk and Jerad Tatum; Step father, Derek Johnson; step mother, Deatrice; His spouse, Tori Miller; their children, Imani and Imari Tatum; Step son, Michael; his siblings, Marquis Sr and his wife Tanika; Jerica, Lakisha, Jerad Jr, Chimere, Ashley, Aysia,  Latisha, Lanice, Jaren, Jalen, nieces and nephews, Marquis jr, Marquel , Curtis, Jerad |||, Loh'gan, Tobin, Qhalon, Ta'Rell, Amanda, Larry, Kaleb, and a host of cousins, aunts and uncles and special friends; Edward Sr, Dante, BoiBoi, Antonio, Will, Jimmelle, and Aaron.
