January 21, 1961 – March 21, 2026
Marshall D. Clark, 65, of Akron, Ohio earned his wings on March 21, 2026, and went home to be with the Lord after a long and courageous battle.
Marshall loved to skate, play baseball and to perform at shows. He loved spending time with his family and friends. Marshall enjoyed singing, dancing, and cracking jokes. He was one of the vocalists in the group "Starlight", where he joined his friends, that were like brothers, Derrick, Eric, and Darnell.
Marshall accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and was baptized. He was a member of New Exodus Christian Fellowship, under the pastoral leadership of Pastor Greg Partridge.
Marshall was a loving son, a devoted father, a protective brother, a wonderful uncle, and a loyal friend. He will be deeply missed, and his legacy will continue through his children.
Marshall was preceded in death by his father, James Clark, Sr.; son, Diaire Palmer-Clark; daughter, Marketta Clark; brother, James Clark, Jr.
He leaves to cherish his beloved memories to his lovely mother, Darletta Clark; sons, Marshall Tillison (Sandra), Jontay Fort, and Dawayne Vargas; daughters, Marshell Palmer, Taya Foster (Jody), Jennifer Wallace; sisters, Lunetta Garr (Anthony), Mia Clark, Yolanda Clark, and Andrea Clark; (20) grandchildren; brothers, Thomas Clark and Arthur Clark; special nephews, Calvin Clark and Raysean Clark (Twila); special friends - like brothers, The Starlights, Derrick, Eric, and Darnell as well as a host of great grandchildren, extended relatives, and friends.
